Fettle Privacy Policy

Fettle does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal or business data. There is no account, no server, and no analytics.

What Fettle collects

Nothing.

Fettle has no server. It never sends anything anywhere. It cannot see, copy, or transmit your invoices, your contacts, your customers, your figures, or any other information in your Xero organisation.

What Fettle stores

Two on and off settings, one for each of its two features.

These are saved using the browser's own storage facility on your own device. They stay on your computer. Nobody else can read them, including us.

Uninstalling Fettle removes them.

Permissions, and why each one exists

• Access to xero.com pages. Fettle works by changing two buttons on Xero's invoice screens, so it has to run on those pages. It requests access to no other website, and it does nothing on any other website.
• Storage. Used only to remember whether you have each feature switched on. Two true or false values, kept locally.

Fettle does not connect to the Xero API and holds no credentials of any kind. It cannot sign in as you, and it cannot reach your accounting data.

Third parties

There are none. Fettle contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no error reporting service, and no external code. It makes no network requests at all.

Children

Fettle is a tool for business accounting software and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If Fettle ever gains a feature that needs data to leave your device, this page will say so clearly and in advance, and the change will be described in the extension's update notes. It will never happen quietly.
